mBlox Exhibits Dynamism with Increased Throughput, Consistent SMS Growth

When investment plans and strategic moves pay off, companies emerge stronger with added momentum and impetus to surge forward. This was exactly what happened when mBlox (News - Alert) invested in enhancing its worldwide network for mobile delivery, and integrated its network with its flagship technology.

Touted for its capabilities in mobile engagement, mBlox repeated its record performance of the last 10 years. It announced another successful year with 5.3 billion business-to-consumer interactions delivered, processing more than 14 million standard rate application-to-person text messages on average every day in 2012.

mBlox will be exhibiting at Mobile World Congress (News - Alert), stand 8.1, H25.

In the U.K., France and Spain, mBlox saw interactions peak in June. In Italy, volume doubled in 2012. In Sweden, volume increased by 36 percent, and even Australia found that its yearly volume increased by almost 70 percent.

mBlox coupled SMS with push messaging solutions and made it easy to use interactive text message campaigns, push notifications and geo-location in order to drive revenue, lifetime customer value and ROI.

More importantly, it provided mobile marketers the context they required to increase relevance and customer engagement, and helped brands, agencies and enterprises create meaningful connections with their customers on mobile devices anytime and anywhere.

“SMS is the perfect channel for brands to interact with consumers on a direct and personal level,” noted Tom Cotney, CEO at mBlox.

Extending across more than 180 countries and over 1083 mobile network operators, mBlox messages were stated to reach destination mobile handsets in an average time of less than 10 seconds. Enterprises enabled by mBlox network received 25 messages every second.

This was even more significant as its efforts came to fruition at a time when many brands were still defining their mobile strategies and looking for measurable ROI.

Further, the “mBlox Engage” platform provided analytical insights on how messages were received and responded to. This enabled companies to further refine and tailor follow-on communications according to individual needs.

mBlox ensured that a company’s SMS campaigns were compliant, secure and easy to manage.

mBlox announced that mobile and Web developers will now be able to access its new mBlox Developer Program, which provides Web and mobile developers with easy and affordable options for incorporating mobile engagement APIs within their mobile applications.
