Blocking annoying calls has always been a major task, but PrivacyStar is making it much easier.

PrivacyStar specializes in smartphone applications for Android, BlackBerry and iPhone (News - Alert). The company’s Metro Block-it is an app that paves way for smartphone users to avoid calls and messages from anonymous and some specific numbers.

The latest the company is coming out with is a new language option with new features and functionality.

PrivacyStar announced a new Spanish language version of Metro Block-it, a call and text message blocking service for MetroPCS customers.

Launched in 2012, Metro Block-it is a powerful yet easy-to-use application that provides users with an effective call blocking feature. Consumers can manage blocked numbers directly from their phones, allowing them to easily monitor all account activity and see when and how many times a blocked number has tried to call.

Metro Block-it users can also additionally report potential Do Not Call Registry and Fair Debt Collection Practices Acts violations easily to the Federal Trade Commission straight from their mobile phones.

The new Spanish language version comes with an added Do Not Disturb feature that enables users to forward blocked calls directly to voicemail, while also customizing an automatic text response to the calling party.

The application comes with a new refined, visually appealing and functional interface.

"We are thrilled to offer a new language option for users, as well as an updated, attractive and more functional user interface," Jeff Stalnaker (News - Alert), chief executive officer at PrivacyStar, said in a statement.

Customers willing to use this app can download in Spanish and English from MetroPCS and Google (News - Alert) Play, and may use app for a seven-day free unlimited trial, and then continue permanently for $1 per month.
