TigerText Unveils Next Generation HIPAA Compliant Text Messaging Solution
Text messaging solutions provider TigerText announced the release of its next generation text messaging application TT2, reinforcing its position as the market leader for secure, real-time healthcare communication.
The new text messaging application offers several enhanced product features that increase efficiency, security and user experience.
"With the release of TT2 we have achieved our goal of providing healthcare enterprises the fastest and most reliable HIPAA compliant text-messaging platform on the market today," said TigerText Co-Founder Brad Brooks (News - Alert), in a statement.
TT2, like its predecessor, works on any smartphone, tablet or Web-enabled Mac or PC. The platform integrates important features such as integrated company directory, delivery and read notifications, user controlled message lifespan, and image sharing.
TT2 comes with several new capabilities including group messaging as well as delivery speeds equivalent to IM. The solution also offers the security, meeting the HIPAA compliance requirements. Network administrators can force pin lock protection and remotely wipe data from the app in case a device is lost or stolen.
With TigerText, users can also track messages sent across its network for auditing purposes. Additionally, TT2 rides on top of TigerText's robust APIs which allow for integration into third party solutions like EMRs and physician scheduling.
The University of Louisville is among the first to use TT2. The solution offers security, accountability, security, accountability, and productivity that SMS text messaging and communication platforms like email cannot.
